Press Release: Scallium Develops Business Process Management Inside Of A Commerce Platform

What's new for the operating system for omnichannel businesses in winter 2021

Scallium's developers presented system updates in winter 2021. Most importantly, now the user can independently draw a status tree for orders in the interface. According to this algorithm, the business process of order processing will take place. This is our first step towards BPM (Business Process Management) and low-code technologies.

Also, we added SLA (Service-Level Agreement) tools that set the rules for order processing. For example, without the help of a programmer a user can set the control settings so that any order must be accepted within 10 minutes and paid within 3 hours, or any chosen time limit by the Scallium client. And then the system will highlight and prioritize the urgent tasks for the pending orders for the designated teams for order fulfillment.
We are convinced that low-code technologies are the future. These are technologies that are responsible for diagramming the business processes for retail without the help of programmers. The simplicity of such deep customization makes the business more flexible, efficient and adaptable. And adaptability is the # 1 priority for any business globally

Among other updates: PIM module (Product Information Management) has improved the tool of reference product cards which has hassle-free set up. The supplier can use an existing card of the branded product, adding only their offered price. This reduces the cost of creating content.

We updated tools for bulk operations with product cards in PIM. In addition to changing the attributes of goods, you can massively change the category of goods. For example — Kitchen and Furniture products could be combined into one category cold Home Furnishings. But subcategories can be created, too.

We also improved the features for users of Scallium to interact and create product cards in their own native languages as well as expanded the ways to import goods. This way Scallium will achieve its mission of becoming a globally accessible marketplace creator.
Company info: The Scallium platform is a comprehensive solution for process automation in e-commerce and omnichannel retail. One of our public case studies was for the development of a marketplace for LEROY MERLIN in Russia in 2017. Scallium also created b2b marketplace - HUBBER. This is the largest platform for suppliers and online stores in the Commonwealth of Independent States.
